Bal Thackeray explodes, scalds BJP
Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray all but snapped his party's ties with the BJP yesterday. In a late-night statement, Thackeray said he was tired of the petty politics being played by the BJP in relation of the efforts at formation of a government in the state.

Five from Mumbai in new Cabinet
Altogether five ministers from Mumbai and three from elsewhere in Maharashtra find place in Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's Cabinet announced Wednesday evening.

Hegde sulks, others chorus discontent
