Gold jewellery missing
Vadodara:
Gold jewellery worth Rs. 1.67 lakh belonging to one Taruben Ambalal Patel, a resident of Ambica Bhuvan, near Baroda Dairy, was reported to have been stolen from her luggage when she landed from flight number 9W341 of Jet Airways at the Vadodara Airport at 6.35 p.m. on Saturday. According to police, the woman coming from United States had boarded the flight at Santacruz and had kept her luggage in the plane. However, when she checked the luggage on landing in Vadodara she found the jewellery missing. A case has been registered in the City Police Station.

Cash, goods lost in house-breaks
Two separate cases of house-break were reported last night in the city. According to the police,in the first case, miscreants stole goods worth Rs 49,000 from a house in Dhananjay society. In the second, cash and jewellery amounting to Rs 1.23 lakh was stolen from a house in Jai Bhagwati Society in Ranoli village by unknown persons. Investigations are on.

Vehicle thefts registered
According to cases of vehicle theft registered by the police on Sunday, three vehicles were reported to have been stolen from different places in the city during the last 24 hours. According to the police, unknown persons using duplicate keys, stole an Ambassador car bearing registration number GJ-6-U-1495 worth Rs 1.5 lakh from near Kabir Mandir in Majelpur. A Maruti car(GJ-3-L-3-C-1532) worth Rs. 70,000 and a Sunny moped (GJ-6-DD-9480) worth Rs 8,000 were stolen from near the Vadodara Railway Station and from Chhani Jakat Naka respectively. Investigations have been started.
