Sanchayika Day observed at KV-Pinjore

PINJORE, Oct 17: The National Savings Organisation, Haryana, organised Sanchayika Day at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, HMT, Pinjore, on Friday. The purpose was to help inculcate the habit of saving in children. Sushma Babbar, president of the HMT Ladies Club who was the chief guest on the occasion said that savings make one feel confident for the future and make one realise the real value of money. Regional Director of National Savings Organisation, Hem Raj Kapoor stated that the Sanchayika scheme was introduced in schools in 1971 in order to generate awareness on savings in early age.To mark the occasion, an elocution contest was conducted with the theme `Importance of savings' in which students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, HMT High School and Government High School, Kalka, participated.
