Gold chains robbed Three women were robbed of their gold chains by motorcycle-borne youths, in different parts of the city, over Sunday and Monday. According to the police, Artiben Kaushikbhai Panwala, resident of Manisha Society under J P Police Station, had just gone out of the society, when two motorcycle-borne youths followed her and fled away after snatching her gold chain. In another case, Vidyaben Sanulal Sharma, resident of Gujarat Housing Board Colony near Ellora Park, was returning home, when two youths on a motorcycle intercepted her near the Nattubhai Centre and snatched her gold chain worth Rs 9,000. In the third case, a gold chain worth Rs 6,000 was snatched from Neeraben Mukesh Joshi, a resident of Priya Duplex in Subhanpura, Sunday evening.Two arrested One Hemendra alias Ramchandra Shankar Dhadge and his son Ravindra Dhadge, residents of Pardesi Phalia, Baranpura locality under Wadi Police Station, have been imprisosned in Rajkot Jail under Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act. According to the police, the two were involved in several cases of assault on the police and the VMC's stray cattle squad. Body recovered The Savli police, on Monday, recovered the body of a 35-year-old unidentified youth from a well in Gothda village, Savli.
