60 pouches of liquor seized
Sector 39 police have arrested Joginder Kumar and Bansi, both residents of Sector 24, and recovered 60 pouches of liquor from their possession. Separate cases have been registered against the two under the Excise Act.One held for satta
The police have arrested Bapu Dham Colony resident, Ashok Kumar, for indulging in satta. He was held from Sector 26. A case under Gambling Act has been registered.
Motorcycle stolen
A Sector 20 resident, Sandip reported that his Hero Honda motorcycle (CHQ-8998) has been stolen from Sector 26 Grain Market. A theft case has been registered.
