A lot has been said on my two bad rounds on the first two days. Frankly, there is so little between a bad round and a good round. The smallest of things can result in huge swings in scores. There was disappointment at the end of the round, but I must confess I did not feel hopeless at any point.

That positive attitude helped me rise from around the 60th place to the sixth place in a matter of 36 holes. This morning, I went out with the goal of shooting around a 64, and I think I ought to have done that but for a couple of missed birdies and an eagle putt. I had 33s on both front andback nines.

The good news is Jyoti Randhawa is champ again. He deserves it. He has grown as a golfer in the last year and is a tough guy now. He would do well in Europe and maybe even the US. He and I were together at the Dunhill Cup and I saw that he was never in awe of any big names. That's perfect attitude.

There will always be a twinge of disappointment that I could not win my sponsor's tournament, but at least I have the best card of four days to present them. In turn, Hero Honda has once again stood by me. Even after two bad rounds, when I barely made the cut, Pawan Kant Munjal of the Hero Honda informed me that his company was going to renew my sponsorship for two more years. That touched me. Here I was barely in the tournament and the sponsor sticks by me.
