CHANDIGARH, Oct 31: Valley Club lifted titles in the men's and women's section, respectively, in the Chandigarh Senior softball championships at the Govt Model School in Sector 23, today. In the men's section Valley XI beat DAV Unique Club by 3-0 and outplayed MCM DAV College-36 by 9-1 in the women's group.In the men's section, Valley Club did not had to exert to score victory over DAV Unique XI who were erratic in their batting. Kulvinder, Bhupinder and Dalbir got one run each for Valley XI.
Good fielding coupled with fine batting enabled Valley Club beat MCM DAV in the women's group. Harpreet and Gurpinder got two goals each while Reena, Kiranjeet, Daljeet, Manju and Anuradha got one point for the winner.
Shiwani got the lone goal for MCM DAV College.
