Vatsa leads complaint list

MUMBAI, NOV 3: PITTIE Cement, Vatsa Corporation, Patheja Forgings and Jindal Vijaynagar Steel are among the top 20 companies against whom maximum number of investor complaints are pending as on October 30, 1999. According to the Bombay Stock Exchange, during October, the BSE received 3,849 complaints against 370 listed companies. In the same period 3,149 complaints were resolved.The cumulative complaints pending against 20 companies are: Pittie Cement (267), Vatsa Corporation (267), Gujarat Fun Water Park (231), Patheja Forgings (224), Padmini Polyers (214), ICES Software (169), Prakash Industries (161), Mehar Diary (149), Monic Electronics (139), Jindal Vijaynagar Steel (137), Rajinder Pipes (111), Tri-Star Soya (130), Shreyans Industries (101), Srishti Videocorp (100), Woolworth (99), SRG Infotec (96), Prudential Capital (92), Pertech Computers (89) and Modiluft (82). Meanwhile, the highest number of complaints from investors are pending against Vatsa Corporation (37) at the NSE for more than twomonths. The other companies are: Xedd Telecom (29), Motorol (22), Patheja Forgings and Auto Parts (10), Grapco Industries, Videocon (10 each), Sterlite (8), Torrent Gujarat (7), Jindal Steel and Satyam Computer Services (6 each), an NSE release said.
