AHMEDABAD, NOV 3: Doctors here performed a rare surgical feat by removing one kilogram of hair from the intestines of an 18-year-old girl yesterday.The girl had become addicted to consuming her own hair after her father died 10 years ago, hospital sources said.
The surgery was performed at the municipal corporation-run V S Hospital by a team of doctors led by Ajay Munshi, the sources said, adding the girl's condition was stable.
