Kashmir Divisional Commissioner Khursheed Ahmad Ganai ordered the inquiry under Srinagar Deputy Commissioner Tanvira Jahan, an official spokesman said on Wednesday. Jahan has been asked to submit her report within a month.

Mohammad Ashraf Bazaz and his wife were killed when allegedly caught in an exchange of fire between militants and Border Security Forces (BSF) on Sunday evening. The couple were on their way to the hospital when the incident occurred.
