The Tansen Samman, a prestigious award for Indian classical music instituted by Madhya Pradesh Government, will be presented to Pandit Vyas on November 27 at Gwalior during the annual Tansen Sangeet Mahotsav.

The award which carries a cash prize of Rs 100,000 will be presented by the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister.pVyas (75) has already been bestowed with many other prestigious awards like Padma Bhushan, Sangeet Natak Akademy award and Master Dinanath Mangeshkar award, among others.
