NEW DELHI, NOV 10: The Union Cabinet tonight cleared a proposal to introducethe controversial Women's Reservation Bill providing for 33 per cent quotafor women in Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies in the wintersession of Parliament.
The Constitution (84th Amendment) Bill, 1998, was opposed by some Oppnparties earlier.
