One-act plays presented at inter-varsity festival

PATIALA, NOV 15: On the third day of the 15th North Zone Inter-University Youth Festival, the students presented their respective items at par with professional artistes. A rich variety of one-act plays, in a multi-lingual panorama, is another highlight of the programme. Teams from three universities Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar, presented Mukti Marg, MDU, Rohtak, presented Court Marshal, Punjabi University, Patiala, presented Aurat. Through these plays, the student artistes conveyed their feelings and glimpses of their talent.In the morning session, the topic of discussion was "Coalition Government" and 26 students from 13 universities participated in this discussion. Both the teams presented their views for and against this system of government. Teams from Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjabi University and PAU, Ludhiana, presented their items in Western solo and Western music.The students of various universities participated in painting and poster- making contests with a lot of enthusiasm.
