3 held for attack on principal Three men have been arrested for attacking the principal of Dr Ambedkar College at Wadala on Sunday evening. The incident took place at around 5 pm on Sunday when the accused were playing cricket near the Siddarth hostel attached to the college. When pricipal Anandrao Salkule took objection, the three men attacked him with a cricket bat and stumps, police said. Salkule was admitted to a nearby hospital and discharged after treatment. The three men are Pramod Hasmane, Manohar Singar and Sachin Dhule.7 injured in stove-blast Seven persons, including four teenagers, suffered minor burn injuries when a stove exploded at a tea stall near Garibi Hospital at Malad at 11.47 am on Monday. The injured are Ashish Gupta (17), Maru Pinto (18), Sunil Malgaonkar (18), Ram Gawda (16), Gamu Gawda (18), Deepak Humb (25) and Jeetendra Root (35).
