Ray Of Light was backed by one and all but at 200 metres it appeared that her army of followers would be dragged in the deep red. But thanks to the efforts of Rajendra who litterly lifted her in the last 20 metres and changed the entire scenerio. The grim faces backing the favourite became jubiliant again.

Combination of trainer, S Mangalorkar and jockey Aslam Kader and also C Rajendra romped home a double each.
