NEW DELHI, November 25: Kurukshetra University lost a good opportunity to make the final grade when they lost to Bangalore University in the semi-finals of the all-India inter-zone varsity men's volleyball championship at Raipur, according to information reaching here today.

Bangalore varsity spikers, playing an excellent game, downed Kurukshetra 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 in a gruelling encounter that saw quite a few ups and downs during the three games. Kurukshetra boys, despite putting up a brave front, ended as losers, thanks to some fine gameplan adopted by the Bangalore varsity spikers.
