NEW DELHI, November 25: Medium pacers Puneet Sharma (4 for 14 of 9.2 overs) and Nitin Aggarwal (4 for 45 off 24 overs) proved too hot for the Jammua and Kashmir batsmen to handle in their North Zone Merchant Trophy league match at the Ferozeshah Kotla here today.Opting to make first use of the easy-paced wicket, the visitors were shot out for a paltry 116. At close, Delhi had made 87 for the loss of skipper Rajat Jaiswal's wicket (46: 8x4, 75m).
Only Manpreet Singh could negotate the double-paced attack of the home team to make a confident 34 which included five boundares. rest of the batsmen fell easy victims to the Dellhi bowlers. Diminutive leg-spinner Abhishek Sharma chipped in with two wickets, conceding 19 runs.
