BANGALORE, NOV 26: Defending champions Karnataka crashed to 221 all out, conceding a first innings lead of 134 runs to Tamil Nadu, who took a virtually unassailable overall lead of 380 runs on the penultimate day of the South Zone Ranji Trophy match here today.At stumps, Tamil Nadu were 246 for seven in their second knock, with S Sharath batting on six, and S Mahesh on 25, made off just eight balls with three sixes.
Resuming at 118 for four, the hosts were never in the reckoning as wickets fell at regular intervals. Sujith Somasundar added just five runs to his 50 before being caught by Vasanth Saravanan off Mahesh.
