Nadeem appeals
Music director Nadeem Akhtar Saifee has filed an appeal in the London High Court against the order of the Bowstreet magistrate who had held that there is a prima facie case against him for his alleged role in the conspiracy to kill T-Series boss Gulshan Kumar in Mumbai in August 1997.

The appeal will be heard in the next two months, according to Special Public Prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam, who had appeared on behalf of the Mumbai police in the extradition proceedings initiated by the Indian government against the London-based Nadeem.

A B Corp case
The Appellate Authority for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (AAIFR) will hear on December 1 an appeal filed by Canara Bank challenging the order of the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR), which had declared Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd (A B Corp) a sick entity. In the appeal filed under Section 25 of the Sick Industrial Companies (Provisions) Act, 1985, Canara Bank has sought the quashing of the BIFRorder and directions for appointment of special auditors to probe A B Corp's accounts for the last three years, its counsel Nishit Dhruve said.
