For the past 52 years, USA has persistently and consistently made every attempt to ignore India on each and every single issue of importance to India.

Further more, US has done everything possible to create difficulties for India through its stooge Pakistan. Most of India's economic problems have arisen due to the enormous dosage of military aird given to Pakistan unmindful of India's genuine security concerns.USA did not care whether Pakistan was a democracy or autocracy as long as its blind cold war needs were met. Even when China invaded India during 1961-62, USA ignored India. It was only USSR then and Russia now that have shown a genuine concern and feeling for India.

Now that India has grown into a major economic power, to be ignored only at great economic cost to USA, the US president wants to visit India. It is most important that India must continue its policy of military preparedness pursuing the well thought nuclear doctrine published 4 months ago. India must continue development of its own aviation and missile technology totally independent of USA and its selfish ends.

USA has attached such great importance to China despite its back-stabbing so frequently and has visited China so many times. Looked at from this context, Clinton's visit or otherwise is of only minor consequence to India. USA has its own ulterior goal of global super-power domination and treat all the third world countries as serfs to meet its needs.
