MUMBAI, JAN 22: The State Government today effected transfers of some IAS officials here. Jagdish Joshi, following his return from leave, has been appointed the principal secretary (textile) in place of N B Patil, who is proceeding on a study leave, an official release said.

The charge of managing director, state textile corporation, till now with R K Zutshi, would be given to Joshi in addition, it said.

S H Shool has been appointed chairman of the State Secondary Selection Board in place of D V Kolte. Additional charge of secretary (admn) home department has been given to shool, the release said. P R Sabde would be deputy secretary in the agriculture department in place of V A Deshpande, who would be now the deputy secretary of home department, it said.

Special executive officer of Nagpur University K Ugajbhiye has been appointed the deputy commissioner sales-tax department. The post was lying vacant.

Deputy secretary of the Governor Vimlendra Sharan has been appointed district collector of Ahmednagar, the release added.
