BBC lose rights
LONDON, FEB 23: The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) have lost out in their bid to secure the ball-by-ball radio broadcast rights for the next Ashes cricket series in Australia in three years' time. The all-sport station Talk Sport will cover England's tour of Australia in 2002/2003. However, the BBC won the rights for England's tour of India and New Zealand in 2001/2002, and insist that will provide more value for money. Copyright © 2000 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
