It's my choice

Hrithik Roshan on the one film that always makes him cry:

"I'm a bit of a cry-baby anyway, so there are lots of films that move me to tears. But most recently, I've ended up sobbing everytime I've seen Titanic. The first time I saw that film on screen, I was with some friends of mine who were extremely embarrassed when they saw tears streaming down my cheeks when the lights went on at the end of the movie.

The immortal romance of the lead actors is so touching that I can't help but burst into tears. I think Titanic is the kind of film that never fails to touch you, if you are the sort of person who is easily moved by what he sees on screen. The whole struggle in the film, the desperation to survive, the will to be together... All of that is so moving.

By now I've seen the film several times. Sometimes on cable, on television, on LD, and I even went back to see the movie on screen again. The second time round I went with my girlfriend, so I tried very hard to control my tears. I didn't want her to think I'm a sissy. Of course, it was difficult having to suppress my sniffles...
