It's my choice -- Namrata Shirodkar

Shirodkar on the one film that always makes her cry:

"I remember I was a child when my mother took me to see The Champ. At the time, I didn't even know who the actors were. But I remember the kid played by Ricky Schroeder. I can never forget how incredibly the relationship between the little boy and his father (played by John Voight) was portrayed. In fact, the last scene is indelibly printed in my memory, where the champ is lying dead and the child keeps calling out to him to wake up. That scene came across so genuinely that it still sends shivers down my spine everytime I watch it on video. It always makes me so emotional... I can't help but sobbing bitterly when it's over.

Another film which has a similar effect on me is The Bridges of Madison County which I saw only a couple of years ago. I think the acting is so sensitive. I've seen the film four times already. Meryl Streep's role was so beautifully crafted, I envy that kind of a screenplay and I hope I'm able to play such a role sometime.
