Sonia to visit State on April 14
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

MUMBAI, MARCH 18: Congress president Sonia Gandhi would visit Maharashtra on April 14 to participate in a programme on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar at Nagpur.

Party spokesperson Ajit Jogi told PTI here on Saturday that during her visit Sonia was likely to dwell on the topic of Constitutional review, mooted by the Vajpayee Government at the Centre.

Jogi stated that the Congress led Democratic Front Government in Maharashtra was committed to implementing the recommendations of the Srikrishna Commission, that probed the 1992-93 Mumbai riots and subsequent blasts.

The delay in implementing the recommendations has been caused due to administrative and legal hurdles, he added.
