Two held in fake currency racket
SURAT, MARCH 26: Surat rural police arrested two persons and seized fake currency notes worth over Rs 1.74 lakh of Rs 100 denomination in Mandvi Taluka of the district. Police sources said that the duo -- Yusuf Abdul Rahim Memon of Rajkot and Mohammed Saiyed Ali Haji of Tamil Nadu were running a shop in Mandvi since last several years. However, their alleged involvement into the matter was revealed on Saturday. The currency notes seized by the police, were in the series of 9hw 7752, 7754, 7755, 7724 and 7753.
