Manoj Tirodkar wins `Young Business Achiever' award

MUMBAI, APRIL 6: Manoj Tirodkar, vice-chairman and managing director of Global Tele-Systems Ltd, was presented with this year's `India Young Business Achiever' (IYBA) award at the hands of Union Minister of State for Finance Balasaheb Vikhe-Patil at a function here today.

The award was instituted by the Worldcom group in 1995 and its previous recipients have been Achar Bakeri (Sanskrut Comfort System Ltd) in 1995, Pradeep Kar of Microland in 1996, Raghevendra Rao of Orchid Chemical in 1997 and K Maran of Sun TV Network in 1999. The award was not presented in 1998.
