Nuke missiles will not be touched, avers Putin
Russian President-elect Vladimir Putin has assured Russians that not a single nuclear missile will be removed until it completed its full active service. He was talking to journalists one day after the ratification of START II treaty by the State Duma, lower house of parliament.

US President Bill Clinton has said the massacre of 35 Sikhs in Chattisinghpura in Jammu and Kashmir on March 20 happened because he was visiting India and was perpetrated by those who don't want the turmoil in the state to be eased.




China renews threats of war against Taiwan
China on Saturday renewed the war threats against Taiwan that characterised its tone in the run-up to the island's elections, and heaped abuse on the island's Vice-President-elect Annette Lu.
