Nasdaq recovery fails to impress Indian markets
While Nasdaq and other world markets recovered after the recent carnage, Indian stock markets continued to reel under sustained unloading by investors and lost another 2.77 per cent on Tuesday.




Reliance beats estimates, profit rises 41%
India's largest pvt sector company, Reliance Industries Ltd, beat analyst estimates and Dalal Street expectations and reported stronger financial results for the year ended March 2000 as business conditions in key segments improved in the last quarter.




HSBC, Merrill Lynch form global online bank
International banking group HSBC Holdings and top US investment bank Merrill Lynch & Co Inc said on Tuesday teamed up to form a stand alone global online banking and brokerage.
