Kashmir Issue

Dear Sir,
As a Kashmiri I am at a loss to understand why Indian government doesn't understand the core problem in Kashmir. It is the Kashmiri, he is alienated, let down by the pseudo democracy and the sham of elections you have been conducting in the State since 1953.
India has failed to honor its commitments to the Kashmiri people for decades. Kashmir at best can be described as an occupied State. It is time that you face the facts and start a dialogue with the Kashmiris.
Quit blaming Pakistan for all your troubles. Most of your trouble is created in New Delhi and off course Pakistan is taking advantage of the situation.

Sincerely,
Iftikhar Ahmad, U.S.A
