3 Nepali watchmen held for theft
UNITED NEWS OF INDIA


MUMBAI, MAY 30: In a sensational break through, the Khar police have arrested a gang of three Nepali watchmen within 24 hours of a house-breaking case being reported and have recovered over Rs 15 lakh worth of gold, diamonds and cash from them.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Bandra division, Suresh Jadhav said that textile merchant Bihari Khemchand Hirani had returned from a holiday in Dubai on Monday and lodged a FIR with the Khar police station regarding a theft at his third floor flat, in Shailesh Building, 16th Road, Khar.

The sniffer dog used during the investigation kept on hovering within the building itself. This led the police to the culprits - Hira Daljitdutt Bhattarai (24), Himmat alias Himjale Raghusingh (25) and Jalaksingh alias Thappa Surjit Singh (24).
