It's my choice
Rinke Khanna on the one film that always makes her cry: In the last scene, although you know that he's going to die, you're almost hoping for a miracle, because you're so attached to him by then. Again, after his death when the tape recorder starts playing, you suddenly stop crying and hope that he's not really dead you pray that he's still around. But of course, none of that happens... It was such a touching film. Even in his death, he doesn't want others to grieve for him. I've seen the film so many times, but I still expect it to end differently each time I see it. That's how much you fall in love with the character. The love between the two friends, and also Anand's inability to see his friend grieve for him are some of the best moments in this film.
