Website on institutes dedicated to orphans launched
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE

NAGPUR, JUNE 30: The Shraddhanand Anathalaya has provided a home to hundreds of orphans in the city, said D N Vaidya, Commissioner, Women and Child Welfare Department, Pune.

Addressing inmates at the Anathalaya recently during a visit to the centre to inaugurate a playground for children and a website on institutes dedicated to orphans by Vidarbha Vision Dotcom, Vaidya appreciated the facilities provided to the orphans and destitute women at the Anathalaya.

Vaidya said it was to the credit of the Anathalaya that the abandoned children not only had found a proper home but also were provided complete care and attention. This would enable them to grow up as integral members of the society, he said.

He promised full support by the government to the various activities carried out by the Anathalaya. Vaidya praised the role of Shamla Abrol as the secretary of the centre and appealed to her to carry on the good work.
