Jaya to be questioned in TANSI case on Monday
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

Chennai, June 30: Questioning of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha and her close friend Sasikala Natarajan by a special judge on depositions by prosecution witnesses in the TANSI land deal case, fixed for today, would now take place on July three.

Special Judge P Anbazhagan allowing a petition filed by Jayalalitha seeking postponement of questioning under Sec.313 Cr.PC directed them to be present in court on that day without fail.

Observing that some advocates representing prosecution as well as the defence and mediapersons did not even have standing place during questioning of Jayalalitha in connection with another TANSI related case on June 26, the Judge told Jayalalitha's counsel to ask AIADMK advocates, not participating in the case, to refrain from occupying seats and overcrowding the court room.
