This Punjab da puttar feels that aquiring at least a basic education is a must. ``I did my schooling from three different places, Kendriya Vidyalaya in Delhi, Faridabad and then at Jaipur'' he says proudly. He then went on to complete his graduation from Rajasthan University. And if that wasn't enough, he went on to do his Chartered Accountancy. But acting, which had been a part of him since his school days, was too strong an urge to ignore. He chuked his CA half way through, joined the National School of Drama and here he is, doing what he loves to do -- play someone else in the face of a smoke-screen!!

Agar acting nahi to...
``If not an actor, I would have been a police officer'' he claims. ``I really love the `cloak-and-dagger' routine involved in this profession,'' he says with a mischievious gleam in his eyes. Err, wasn't he studying to become a CA. Oh well, to each his own! Or you could always put him down as a man of many... aspirations...?!?

Marital Status
For all the females who are crazy over this guy, baaaaaad news. Our Mr Soni is totally smitten and properly hooked to Ritu. ``We got married just over six months back'' he confesses. ``Ritu has done her Masters in Business Administration.'' he claims proudly. Ooo... kaaayyy!

One thing he'll never forget
``This incident happened before my marriage. Ritu and I had gone to Trivandrum to meet her father and I was quite nervous. To my surprise, my future father-in-law was equally nervous. He had come to pick us up and on the way back home, we both kept talking simultaneously. There was no connection between what he was saying and what I was saying. He was busy talking about the weather while I kept talking about my mobile'' reveals Anoop, trying hard to control his laughter.

Future-wise
Anoop is currently busy shooting for I Love You and Kartavya. ``I definately want to see myself in films in the future,'' he says. Specially since he has already made a debut in last year award winning movie, God Mother. ``I have also acted in Fizza, the movie directed by Khalid Mohammed,'' he reveals.
