India slip to 115

New Delhi, July 6: In the latest FIFA rankings released on Wednesday, India have slipped two places to 115. India, who have accumulated 342 points, however, still managed to finish among the top 20 Asian countries. Among the other Indian sub-continent teams, Sri Lanka have leap-frogged 16 places and are placed at 148. While Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Maldives were placed at 140, 187, 165 and 149 respectively.

Among the Asian super powers, Korea continue to lead the pack with 567 points and are placed at 37 followed by Asian Games champions Iran (40), Japan (46), Saudi Arabia (48) and United Arab Emirates (57).
