Campbell, Andy Flower spur Zimbabwe to win

London, July 9: Alistair Campbell and captain Andy Flower both hit half-centuries to spur Zimbabwe to a five-wicket win over England in their triangular one-day series match at The Oval on Saturday.

Campbell, who scored 80, and Flower, with 61, shared a crucial fourth wicket stand of 123 as Zimbabwe recovered from 35 for three in the 12th over. Grant Flower smashed an unbeaten 33 off 29 deliveries as victory was secured at 210 for five with 10 balls to spare.

Zimbabwe, who dismissed England for 207 off the final ball of their 50th and last over, have now won their first two games in the series, having beaten West Indies by six wickets in a day-night match in Bristol on Thursday.

England's ultimately disappointing total was marked by opener Marcus Trescothick hitting the top score of 79 on his international debut. He made his runs from 102 balls, hitting seven fours, and put on 106 for the second wicket with Graeme Hick, who hammered 50 off 58 deliveries.

England face West Indies at Lord's on Sunday in the third game of the 10-match series in which the top two teams contest the final at cricket's traditional headquarters on July 22.
