No govt jobs in MP for parents with third child BHOPAL, JULY 15: Parents giving birth to their third child after January 26 next year will not be eligible for government jobs in Madhya Pradesh. They will be denied all the benefits and facilities under government schemes, the state government has announced under its new Population Stabilisation Policy. This is the second major decision of the government under the policy. The government has already passed laws barring parents giving birth to morethan two children on or after January 26 from holding any elected office inPanchayats, cooperative institutions and krishi mandis in the state. If an already elected member has two or more children and has anotherchild after January 26 next year, he or she will be debarred from contesting elections for any post in these institutions. To ensure that government servants follow this policy by themselves, the MPCivil Service Conduct Rules (1965) have been amended to make birth of the third child a ``misconduct''.
