7 more ULFA lay down arms
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA


Dibrugarh (Assam), Aug 15: Seven hardcore ULFA militants today surrendered before the Army in Dibrugarh district, official sources said here.

The militants, belonging both to the armed and political wing of the ULFA, surrendered with one AK-47 rifle, three pistols and five rounds of AK-47 ammunition before Major General Ashok Chaki at Dinjan contonment, the sources said.

The militants are Pranab Gohain, Amulya Bora, JyotishGohain, Sanjiv Moran, Joom Gogoi, Pranjal Bora and Ranjit Neog.
