Bomb blast co-accused lands in hospital
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

Nashik, Aug 24: Vishwanath Thok, co-accused in the August 14 bomb-explosion, case was rushed to hospital yesterday after he complained of chest pain, police said today.

Thok, working as accountant in Sinnar's S G Public school here and remanded to police custody till August 24, has been admitted to Nashik civil hospital where other three accused are also under treatment.

A close associate of former Congress MLA Suryahan Gadakh's son and main accused in the case, Anna Gadakh, Thok allegedly gave `supari' to one Ramgulab Tripathi, head of a security agency, on Anna's behalf to kill his rival Dilip Shinde, chairman of Sinnar Co-operative Industrial Estate, police said.

The plan was to kill Shinde with a parcel bomb, allegedly prepared by UP-based couple Krishna Mishra and his wife Kusum. But the bomb exploded in Mishra's house at Ravivar Peth, here, on August 14 injuring the duo, police said.

While the couple was admitted soon after the explosion, Gadakh who surrendered before police on August 21 was shifted to Nasik civil hospital yesterday after he complained of uneasiness.

Former Congress (S) MLA Suryabhan Gadakh was instrumental in setting up the co-operative industrial estate in Sinnar tehsil town, about 35 kms from here and he himself headed it for ten years.
