Rio De Janeiro, September 6: A spat over what tennis world star Gustavo Kuerten should wear to the Olympics has put the 24-year-old in a tight bind and could block his participation in the upcoming Olympics in Sydney, media reports said.

Kuerten -- rated second in the World -- and his advisors insist that he appear in Sydney with clothing made by his sponsors, Diadora of Italy, according to agreements they have with the firm.

``Participating in the Olympics is a childhood dream for me,'' he said. ``But my hands are tied.''
