Hinduja brothers chargesheeted in Bofors gun deal pay-offs case
In an important turn to the Rs 64-crore Bofors pay-offs scandal, Europe-based three Hinduja brothers -- Srichand, Gopichand and Prakashchand -- were chargesheeted by the CBI, which accused them of receiving 81 million Swedish Kroners from the Swedish gun manufacturer.



Territorial Army to be expanded -- George
To relieve the armed forces of excessive stress caused by tackling internal strifes, the `Territorial Army', will be expanded by this year end and empowered with additional responsibilities, Defence Minister George Fernandes said.
