TADA Mark II

Dear sir,

This is truly a shocking news. It is quite apparent that government is devoted to evolve policies to counter terrorism. But the method adapted in this context seems to be that of terrorism itself; rather extortion. The concerned bill and the intention of the government seem to run parallel as far as the outcome of implementing the bill is concerned. Instead, the government should be trying to fine-tune the internal security machinary rather than trying to extort the poor jounalists. There is always a chance that a journalist may not know if the information he/she possesses is any worth to the police in the context of terrorism. It leading only to untoward chaos and fear amongst the journalist community if this bill is ever passed and subsequently implemented.
