BCCI committee to consider Madhavan's report
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

NEW DELHI, NOV 20: Cricket board's disciplinary committee will meet here on November 27 to consider its Anti-corruption Commissioner K Madhavan's report on the betting and match-fixing before placing it in the special general assembly in Calcutta two days later.

Board President A C Muthiah, who heads the three-member committee -- two vice-presidents Ram Prasad and C K Khanna are its other members -- had decided to hold the meeting here after Madhvan presents him its report on November 25, Khanna told PTI here on Monday.

Madhavan examined five cricketers -- Mohammed Azharuddin, Ajay Jadeja, Manoj Prabhakar, Ajay Sharma and Nayan Mongia -- besides former physio therapist Ali Irani, Board treasurer Kishore Rungta and Delhi Cricket Association's groundsman Ram Adhar, all of whom were named in the CBI report on the scandal.

After discussing Madhavan's report and the disciplinary committee's recommendations tbe Board's general assembly will decide the future course of action, BCCI sources said in Mumbai.
