Go to party offices -- MPCC Chief to partymen
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE

NASHIK, JAN 4: The President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) Govindra Adik has asked party workers to drag ministers to local offices of the party, instead of felicitating them at government rest houses.

Addressing a meeting of party workers at Congress Bhavan, Adik expressed concern at the behaviour of ministers. He said that there was absolutely no need for party workers to go to circuit houses (where visiting ministers arrive from Mumbai) with bouquets to welcome them. He said that ministers should visit local offices of the party and listen to the grievances of people as well as partymen. He said that partymen should drag reluctant ministers to the party's office.

Adik further said that the respective guardian minister of each district should spend at least a day every month in interacting with partymen and other ministers should visit the district office of the party instead of confining themselves to rest houses. He said that even the Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh had decided to spend a day at the MPCC headquarters every month.
