No more tax sops, or cuts -- Yashwant Sinha
Though he's given no indication of what fresh taxes the budget may hold, Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha made it clear that there would be no further cuts in income tax rates.




RBI plans new NPA restructuring norms
In a move which will help commercial banks to reduce the level of non-performing assets and facilitate corporates to evergreen their NPAs, the RBI will soon issue guidelines to commercial banks and financial institutions to reschedule sticky debt owed by corporates.
