Sorry for all the delay. That's all for the day from Mumbai MUMBAI, February 21: It was a meeting of legends -- Viswanathan Anand and Sachin Tendulkar. And even though it happened by chance it became an event to remember. The chess champion, however, lived up the reputation of being a true gentleman as he waited at the press club here on Wednesday morning to wish the cricketer good luck for the forthcoming series against Australia. Anand, who arrived in the city on Tuesday for a felcitation accorded by the State government was invited by the òf40óMarathi Press for a briefing was requested by the media and protographers alike to wait for Tendulkar, who was to later address the media at the Mumbai Press Club (situated in the same premises). Being told that Tendulkar is on his way, Anand obliged and took the opportunity to wish good luck to the sport mate. Copyright © 2001 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
