Harvey cleared for One-day series
Agence France-Presse

Melbourne, March 13: All-rounder Ian Harvey will be fit for Australia’s one-day internationals in India after overcoming a thumb injury, the Victorian chairman of selectors Shaun Graf said today.

Harvey missed the first innings Sheffield Shield win over New South Wales in Sydney yesterday, after being struck on the thumb while batting in Victoria’s previous game against Tasmania.

However, he has been named in Australia’s 14-man squad and is scheduled to travel to the sub-continent on Saturday along with the four other members of the squad Nathan Bracken, Michael Bevan, Andrew Symonds and Darren Lehmann.
