| Who built the road in front
of your house that gets washed away every August? And how much of your money did
he get away with?
Why does garbage pile
up in your neighbourhood and not in the next? What
did the minister you voted for do with his fund? Did your area benefit? There's
a law that says that you have the RIGHT to get these answers. The Indian Express
and Parivartan have set up a forum to help you use the Act - to help you access
information and to change things around you. From getting the garbage outside
your house collected to obtaining MCD permission without bribing anyone.
'Since 16th August 2004, Express Newsline - Delhi has been bringing you stories
of how this Act has changed lives. We bring to you details of the initiative and
how you could use it. If you have a problem bring it to The Indian Express -
Parivartan Camp. We are organizing camps across the city, moving from one
neighbourhood to another. Look out for details on the camps in The Indian
Express and on http://expressindia.com/initiatives/rti/. We invite you to join us and `Tell Them You Know' about
your Right to Information. For more information: e- mail us at: indianexpress@parivartan.com '
