Disciplines

IndiaIndia is sending a 57 member contingent to Beijing Olympics and to the optimist, this seems to be the strongest set of players going to the Games in recent times. Spearheaded by ace long jumper Anju Bobby George 17-member athletics contingent is the largest. India's best chances in Games are likely to come from shooting, boxing and tennis but it is important that country's athletes perform well as underdogs.
